For iPhone, iPad & Mac
OneTwo Editor puts plain text, Markdown with live preview, formatted notes and JSON into one shared document browser. You pick the kind when you create a document and get exactly the tools that fit. No account, no subscription.
A small document browser and three tools that run entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. The editors are modeled on the app. This is a simplified simulation: labels, scope and flows in the app differ in details.
The library is on the left, on the right the editor that fits the kind of document. Try each kind once.
Tip: in “config.json” the key “2” comes after “ratio”. After formatting the order stays, and the number 1.0 stays 1.0. Your documents stay in this browser.
Pick what you are about to do and see which kind is made for it.
Paste JSON, validate it and format it. The comparison shows why key order and the spelling of numbers matter: OneTwo Editor only changes whitespace.
The comparison uses your browser’s standard functions (JSON.parse and JSON.stringify). They move keys like “2” to the front and round large or odd numbers.
Tick off what you have done. Your progress stays in this browser only.
You pick what a document should be when you create it and get exactly the tools that fit.
The editor for lists, logs and files.
Writing with live preview.
Rich text for thoughts and minutes.
Format, minify, validate.
One shared browser, shared organization, shared protection.
Plain text, Markdown, notes and JSON live in one library. Folders, smart folders, hashtags and color tags organize them all the same way, and full-text search finds every document.
Change case, duplicate lines or words, spaces and blank lines, quotes, HTML leftovers and much more. One undo is enough.
Shows every byte (UTF-8), next to the text or on its own, read-only. Spot hidden characters and line endings.
Several documents open at once in tabs. They are back after a restart.
Import .txt, .md, .json, .rtf and other text formats. Pin what matters to the top, and the trash catches accidents.
Lock individual documents with a password and, if you like, unlock them with Face ID or Touch ID. Locked content is stored encrypted.
Home Screen widgets with quick note, new documents, pinned and recent documents, folders, filters or tags. The quick note is also available as a Lock Screen widget and in Control Center. Plus Shortcuts and Spotlight.
Insert photos, scan documents, capture text with the camera and draw in the note. Export as RTF, RTFD or PDF.
Print Markdown as a fully rendered page and export it as .md. Export notes as RTF, RTFD or PDF.
Requires iOS and iPadOS 18 or later, macOS 15 or later. Sketches and camera scans are available on iPhone and iPad only.
On the Mac you open text, Markdown and JSON files in a file window of their own. Saving writes straight to the file, with no database and no iCloud in between. On iPad such files open in a window of their own, on iPhone in full screen.
When iCloud is on, the library syncs through your private iCloud database with iPhone, iPad and Mac. If a document was changed on another device while it is open on yours, the app asks when saving which version applies. Try it:

Monday meeting (moved) Budget by Wednesday
You turn iCloud sync on and off per device (Settings › iCloud). Without iCloud your documents stay on your device.
The app shows what was synced, what is still pending and whether there are conflicts or errors. At the press of a button it restarts the sync.
On first launch the app asks once whether to use iCloud.
There is no analytics. Without iCloud your documents stay on your device.
You lock individual documents with a password of your own. Locked content is stored encrypted; if you like, you unlock it on this device with Face ID or Touch ID. Without the password, locked content cannot be recovered.
With iCloud, documents sync through your private iCloud database. The developer has no access.

OneTwo Editor for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Start writing.
Coming soon to the App StoreOne app with four editors in a shared document browser: plain text, Markdown with live preview, notes with rich text, and JSON. You pick the kind when you create a document.
For anyone who writes, takes notes or works with text, config files and data: at university, at the office, while coding or just for the shopping list.
You import .txt, .md, .json, .rtf and other text formats. You can also open text, Markdown and JSON files directly: on the Mac in a file window of their own, on iPad in a window of their own, on iPhone in full screen. Saving writes straight to the file.
It formats and minifies without changing key order, the spelling of numbers or escape sequences. As you type it validates the JSON and shows line and column of an error.
On iPhone and iPad, yes: you insert photos, scan documents, capture text with the camera and draw sketches in notes. On the Mac you insert images, also straight from your iPhone.
You lock individual documents with a password of your own and, if you like, unlock them with Face ID or Touch ID. Locked content is stored encrypted; without the password it cannot be recovered. There is no account, no ads and no tracking.
Yes. Without iCloud your documents stay on your device. You turn sync on or off per device.
