For iPhone & Apple Watch
OneTwo Ski records skiing, snowboarding and cross-country. It knows when you ski, ride a lift or take a break, has slopes and trails from 36 regions even without a signal, and works with gloves on. No subscription, no account, no ads.
A simulated ski day in a made-up resort that runs entirely in your browser. Slopes, speed, altitude and heart rate are simulated, no location is requested. In the app the slope data comes from 36 regions and the values from GPS, the barometer and Apple Health (heart rate, also from Apple Watch). The simulator is simplified: the time-lapse, the choice of the next slope and the button to stand still do not exist in the app.
Pick a sport and press and hold Start. In the demo time runs 30 times faster. Pick the next slope above and watch how the app tells lift, run and break apart.
No photos yet. Tap the camera while skiing.
The first entries are examples. In the app, tags are free words you choose (plus seven color tags and a date range filter); here are five example tags. Ski days you save from the simulator appear at the top and stay in this browser only.
Tick off what you have done. Your progress stays in this browser only.
A workflow that fits in your jacket pocket.
Skiing, snowboarding or cross-country. Each sport brings its own stats.
Pick an area in the Map tab; near an area, the app suggests it by itself. Slopes, trails, lifts and gondolas are already in the app.
Press and hold Start, that is it. The app detects runs, lifts and breaks by itself. Recording keeps running in the background.
All ski days in the Activities tab, with tags, color tags, filter and search. Optionally as a workout in Apple Health or as a GPX file.
OneTwo Ski is lean on purpose: three sports, each with its own stats.
The app counts runs and lifts only for skiing and snowboarding. Heart rate appears only with access to Apple Health. Missing values show as “–”, never as 0.
The slope data is part of the app and works without a signal. Apple’s base map needs a connection and is limited without one; satellite and hybrid are online only.
Slopes, trails, lifts and gondolas from 36 regions worldwide are built right into the app.
Slopes colored by difficulty. For cross-country you see trails, for skiing and snowboarding slopes and lifts.
The app shows which slope or trail you are on, with name and difficulty, once you have chosen an area on the map.
You pick an area in the Map tab. Near an area, the app suggests it by itself.
While recording it turns with your heading, keeps north up or shows the whole route, in standard, satellite or hybrid style.
Trail data: © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL). The information may be incomplete or out of date and says nothing about whether a slope or lift is open.
You do not have to switch anything. The app splits your day into runs, lift rides and breaks automatically.
Take photos with the built-in camera without leaving your recording, with flash, zoom and camera switching.
On the mountain it matters that nothing happens by accident and nothing gets lost.
Version 1.0 comes for iPhone and Apple Watch, without a dedicated iPad or Mac version.
If you like, the app syncs activities, photos and settings through iCloud. If an activity was changed on two devices, the conflict manager lets you decide which version applies (this device, iCloud or keep both); until then both are kept. For settings, the newer change wins. Simplified simulation:
Powder on Saturday Tag: Powder
Family day on Saturday Tag: Family
With your permission the app reads your heart rate and saves ski days as workouts.
Everything stays on your device if you do not turn on sync.
Heart rate values are not synced.
No ads, no analytics, no third-party SDKs. No data is sent to the developer.
In the background, location runs only while a recording you started is running or paused. In the foreground the app also uses your location for the map.
Optional sync uses your private iCloud database only.
Everything else is in the privacy policy.

Coming soon to the App StoreA GPS tracker for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country. It detects runs, lifts and breaks, knows slopes and trails and keeps a ski diary. On the Home Screen the app is called “12 Ski”.
The slope data for 36 regions worldwide is built into the app. You see slopes, trails, lifts and gondolas even without a signal. Apple’s base map, however, needs a connection and is limited without one; satellite and hybrid are online only.
No. The app recognizes a ride down in a gondola by its even speed and straight line and does not count it as a run. Detection uses altitude, speed and the slope data and can be wrong on very slow stretches or flat tow paths.
Yes. Start, pause and stop need a short press and hold. An accidental tap in your jacket pocket will not end your recording.
Recording keeps running with the iPhone locked. If the app is ended unexpectedly, it resumes the recording with all points so far the next time you open it.
